Copper-related chronic hepatitis in a dog. In this liver, the aggregates of macrophages contain granular pigment, typical of copper, with an abundance of mononuclear inflammatory cells within the lesion. Surrounding hepatocytes also contain fine granular pigment as a result of copper retention.
