Body weights and kidney injury parameters. Mice were fed a control diet, high-fat diet (HFD) or HFD supplemented with lingonberry (HFD+LB) for 12 weeks and (A) final body weights were measured. Kidney injury was examined by measuring (B) blood urea nitrogen (BUN), renal mRNA expression of (C) kidney injury molecule-1 (KIM-1), (D) neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) and (E) renin.
