High abundance of PKR inhibits FMDV replication. Upregulation of PKR suppresses FMDV replication in a dose-dependent manner in PK-15 cells. (A) PK-15 cells were transfected with increasing amounts of Myc-PKR or empty vector plasmids (0, 0.5, 1, 2 or 3 μg). The cells were infected with equal amounts of FMDV (0.5 MOI) at 12 hpt for 12 h.
