The known numbers of cells (1.0 × 10⁴) were incubated for 24 h in a 5% CO₂ incubator at 37 °C in the presence of different concentrations of test compounds. After 24 h of drug incubation the MTT solution was added and supernatant was discarded and 100 mL DMSO was added in each well and absorbance was recorded at 540 nm by ELISA reader.
