Short period protection of BHK-21 cells from CPE by efficacious siRNAs. (A) pVP1-siRNA517, pVP1-siRNA113, pVP1-siRNA519, mixtures and mock, respectively, represent BHK-21 cells transfected with the corresponding siRNAs at 36 h post-infection with FMDV. All images were obtained using an Olympus IX70 microscope at a magnification of 10 × 20. (B) At 12, 24, 36, 48 h p.i., BHK-21 cells viability was evaluated by MTT assay.
