5 March 2020	New search has been performed	A search of the Cochrane Cystic Fibrosis and Genetic Disorders Group's Haemoglobinopathies Trials Register identified nine references (to four trials) which were screened for inclusion. Eight references (to three trials) were moved to excluded studies (EUCTR2013‐001534‐18‐GB; NCT00538564; NCT01179217). One trial is still ongoing and was moved to ongoing studies (ChiCTR1800017370) No new trials were identified from the searches of clinical trial registers. We found 24 trials via a search of Embase. Only one of these was considered for inclusion but was moved to excluded studies upon screening (Nardozza 2017).
