HIV risk is a behavioral count variable with scores ranging from 0–8.

Physical violence is a count variable of number of physically abusive romantic partners in the last year ranging from 0–4. The distribution was zero-inflated.

Sexual assault was derived from the comprehensive trauma interview. A binary variable was coded such that 0 is no experience of sexual assault and 1 is any experience of sexual assault.
