Classes were aggregated from the CCI landcover map³⁷ (Online-only Table 1) and the associated confusion matrix for the year 2010 (Tables 4–5 in version 2.5 of the D3.4-PUG CCI Landcover Product User Guide⁸⁴). User’s accuracies were used to propagate uncertainty of phylogenetic classification when converting biomass density to carbon density and in woody BGBC calculations.
