Residual analysis was performed in surgical procedures; revision THA and pelvic or proximal femoral osteotomy were more frequently performed in in patients with IAPUs than in those without (p = 0.011, adjusted standardized residual in revision THA = 1.97, adjusted standardized residual in pelvic or proximal femoral osteotomy = 2.53)
