T50 measurements of identical serum samples were taken at 65°C. A, Direct light dependent resistor (LDR) output, B, sliding average LDR output results in curve smoothing. Mirrors in the microchip increased the effective length of the measuring path through the sample cell from 1mm to 10 mm, reduced noise and increased the overall voltage step.
