Structure of telomerase. Telomerase is a holoenzyme composed of the catalytic subunit, TERT (telomerase reverse transcriptase), and the RNA component, TERC (telomerase RNA component). Dyskerin and other associated proteins, GAR1, NHP2, and NOP10 interact with TERC by binding to the H/ACA box and regulate telomerase biogenesis, subcellular localization, and function.
