TLR8 ligands induce cell death in purified monocytes. 1.5 × 10⁴ purified monocytes per well were stimulated in flat-bottom 96-well plates for 24 h with LPS (0.1 μg/mL), Imiquimod (1 μg/mL), Resiquimod (1 μg/mL), TL8-506 (0.1 μg/mL) or Motolimod (0.5 μg/mL) as indicated. Microscopic inspection (a) was done after 24 h at 100x magnification. Annexin V/PI staining was performed in parallel and analyzed by flow cytometry (b). Results are representative of four independent experiments.
