Inhibition of A3B_CTD‐QM‐ΔL3‐AL1swap‐catalysed deamination of the substrate (5′‐ATTT‐C‐ATTT) by oligos containing modified nucleosides. The bold C denotes the target 2′‐deoxycytidine residue deaminated through the action of the enzyme. Determination of K _i for 5FdZ‐oligo can be found in the Supporting Information. The K _i (mean and standard deviation) for the dZ‐oligo was reported previously8 and is provided for comparison; all experiments were repeated multiple times in the same laboratory and with the same time interval. Mean values are plotted. The error bars report standard deviations.
