Propofol promoted the inhibitory effect of DDP to A549 cell proliferation. We used 0, 10, 20, 40, 80, 160, and 320 μM DDP to treat A549 cells and then cultured in 5 μg/mL propofol or DMSO for 48 hours. MTT assay was conducted to determine cell proliferation (A) and measure the IC50 value (B) in propofol-treated A549 cells. Results were exhibited as means±SD. * P<0.05 and ** P<0.01 compared to control.
