CD spectra characteristic for anti-parallel G-quadruplexes of TBA and its Upy analogues. CD spectra of 50 μM TBA, TBA4, TBA9M and TBA13 oligonucleotides in 50 mM KCl solutions were recorded with a 2.0 mm optical path at 25°C. No signal was observed above 320 nm. CD spectrum of TBA9D was recorded on NMR sample in 100 mM KCl solution with a 0.1 mm optical path at 25°C.
