—Comparison of putative WGD events inferred across MAPS, PUG, and divergence times analyses. As illustrated with colored symbols, our results reveal signatures of widespread ancient polyploidy in Lamiaceae, including 29 uniquely placed WGD events in the family and pronounced levels of WGDs in the species-rich Nepetoideae (blue). Twelve of these events were inferred by more than one analysis, whereas six were consistently inferred across all analyses.
