Effect of quercetin stimulation on AMPK phosphorylation in vitro. Isolated epitrochlearis muscles were incubated for 30 min either in the absence (-) or presence (+) of 100 μM quercetin (A) or 100 μM resveratrol (B). Values are means ± SE (n = 4–5). Sample stimulated with 0.5 mM 5-aminoimidazole-4-carboxamide-1-beta-d-ribofuranoside (AICAR) was used as a positive control (n = 1). A representative blot is shown above each figures.
