Performance of models predicting the presence of radiologist-defined intestinal strictures.Using automatically derived bowel measurements, models predicting radiologist-defined stricturing disease were generated. Using a stricture definition of 25% or more increase in bowel wall thickness and 50% or more reduction of lumen caliber relative to radiographically normal adjacent bowel and including criteria of 30 mm or more of upstream bowel dilation, automated models had an AuROC of 0.86 (dashed line). Alternatively, when removing the criteria for bowel dilation, model performance improved with an AuROC of 0.92 (solid line).
