Postmission Physical Examination

  • 1.

    Address specific signs and symptoms reported by the volunteer

  • 2.

    Review any high-risk exposures

  • 3.

    Perform complete physical examination

  • 4.

    Perform routine laboratory tests as during pretravel session

  • 5.

    Obtain serologic testing for HIV, hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus, and other agents where suspected exposures may have occurred

  • 6.

    Repeat tuberculosis screening

  • 7.

    Obtain stool for ova and parasite testing
