Genetic interactions between sacy-1 and tra-2 in germline sex determination were analyzed by combining the strong germline-feminizing dominant tra-2(e2020) mutation with the sacy-1(tm5503) null mutation. Dissected gonads of wild-type hermaphrodites (A–D) and sacy-1(tm5503); tra-2(e2020) females were analyzed by staining for the oocyte RME-2 yolk receptor (A and E) and the major sperm protein (B and F).
