Table 1.

Demographics of human study subjects. Caucasian stone-formers and healthy non-stone formers were recruited as described in the Materials and Methods section. Outpatient 24 h urines were collected on random ad lib outpatient diets and urinary stone risk profile was assayed by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)-certified laboratory and genotyping was performed by the Sequencing Core at the Pak Center of Mineral Metabolism and Clinical Research (Reed et al., 2002).
