Heat map visualization of beta-diversity calculators. Beta-diversity analysis was performed on subsampled data using the Jaccard (A), Bray-Curtis (B), and Yue & Clayton theta (Θ_YC) coefficient (C) calculators. The output of all three calculators ranges from 0–1. Similarity is plotted; thus, 0 is dissimilar, and 1 is similar. The color scale for each calculator is shown adjacent to each heat map.
