Tomatidine has no direct virucidal effect on CHIKV particles. 2.5 × 10⁵ PFU of CHIKV-LR was incubated with 10 μM tomatidine for 2 h at room temperature (RT) or 37 °C. The infectious titer was determined by plaque assay on Vero-WHO cells. Data is represented as mean ± SEM from three independent experiments and differences were assessed with Student’s t-test.
