Disease duration: months from diagnosis to blood sample. Score: ALS patient deficit was scored according to the following scale: A—moderate; B—medium-severe; C—severe; D—complete. The age of ALS patients was 58.37 ± 3.2 years. Healthy donors were recruited between 50.26 ± 10.2 years, of different gender (n = 14).
