n=30 nursing home residents, probably with dementia. Aged 75 years (54‐88). Natural menopause. Exclusion criteria: inability to communicate, evidence of neoplasm |

1. E2 i.m., 1 mg 3x/wk for 6 wks, then 2 mg/ wk +P 5‐10 mg for 1‐3 days/mth
