The sows in group P were fed daily 15 g of probiotic compound consisting of 1.5 × 10⁷ colony‐forming units (cfu) of Bacillus mesentericus TO‐A, 1.5 × 10⁷ cfu of Clostridium butyricum TO‐A, 1.5 × 10⁹ cfu/g of Enterococcus faecalis T‐110 and 150 mg of the peptide‐zinc compound.
