Slow4 DMN hemodynamic variability was associated with baseline global cognition, hippocampal volume and cognitive decline. After ICA-based denoising, lower variability in the posterior DMN was associated with poorer baseline global cognition (A) and smaller hippocampal volume (B) at slow4. Furthermore, over a 2-year follow-up, lower posterior DMN variability was associated with faster cognitive decline at slow4 in all patients (C).
