No severe diarrhoea was observed in the mock group or piglets born to immunized sows post‐challenge. Severe diarrhoea was observed in piglets born to unimmunized sows. (b) HE staining. One piglet from sow #100 (#100‐5) was born to immunized sows and exhibited mild villus atrophy in the jejunum and ileum post‐challenge. No obvious lesions were observed in the mock group or piglets born to immunized sows post‐challenge.
