Asbestosis associated with carcinoma of the lung. The asbestosis has been highlighted by barium sulphate impregnation and is seen as a grey subpleural band to the right of the picture. Although the carcinoma has arisen in the same lobe as the asbestosis it has not obviously arisen in an area affected by asbestosis.
