The cell cultures were serially diluted 10-fold and treated as in Fig. 1, except that (+EM) samples were exposed to the EM beam, while (−EM) samples were unexposed. The unprocessed samples were untreated and extracted directly using MagnaPure extraction. The standard curve for the adenovirus quantitative real-time PCR is also shown on the figure.
