Telbivudine (LdT) plus alisporivir combination has a greater antiviral effect than alisporivir or telbivudine alone. HepG2215 cells were treated with 0.25, 1, 5, and 20 μg/mL of alisporivir alone and in combination with 10 μmol/L of LdT or 10 μmol/L of LdT alone. Cells and supernatants were collected every 24 hours. (A) Secreted-virus (SV) HBV DNA and (B) intracellular nucleocapsid-associated (INA) HBV DNA were quantified by real-time PCR.
