Participants	Inclusion criteria Women having a CS. N = 59. Exclusion criteria Women with certain or presumed hypersensitivity to β lactamine.
Interventions	Intervention: cephalosporin (B3). Ceftriaxone. 1 g IV bolus; pre‐operative. N = 27. Comparison: penicillin (A3). Mezlocillin. 2 g IV bolus; pre‐operative. N = 32.
