Adhesive bonding strategies. (a) Adjusting thicknesses of adhesive interlayers. Clean glass slides are coated with PDMS/clear resin using different spinning speeds. (b) Direct bonding technique. 3D printed device is placed directly on the coated glass slides. (c) Transfer bonding technique. 3D printed device is placed on the coated glass slides, and then this device is transferred and put on a second glass slide. PDMS/clear resin layers between the 3D printed device and the glass slide are then cured to achieve sealed microfluidic channels.
