Growth rate, generation time and maximal optical density at 600 nm (OD₆₀₀) were compared. Both strains were grown in MM63 medium at low (0.1 M NaCl), medium (1 M NaCl), and high salt (2 M NaCl). Data presented are from three independent experiments (three biological replicates). Each experiment was measured 9 times (9 technical replicates)
