Rebaudioside A improves indices of glucose homeostasis, beta cell mass, autonomic innervation. NCS improved fasting glucose level (A) and restored pancreatic VAChT (C–H), TH density (I–N), and beta cell mass (O–T) compared to fructose and sucrose, while Rebaudioside A specifically improved insulin sensitivity (B).
