DOPG inhibited Pam₃CSK₄-induced inflammatory mediator expression in the macrophage cell line RAW264.7. RAW264.7 cells were treated with 0, 1, and 2.5 µM Pam₃CSK₄ (Pam) in the presence or absence of 50 or 100 µg/ml DOPG for 2 hours. RNA was then isolated, and the expression of the inflammatory mediators (A) IL1α, (B) IL1β, (C) IL6, and (D) TNFα was monitored by quantitative RT-PCR with GAPDH used as the housekeeping gene.
