The capacitive coupling distribution between the tip and surface was generated by a 1D statistical analysis of images depicted in Fig. 4, for the unmodified, anionic and cationic cellulose films. Capacitance coupling was measured across a 10 µm2 sample surface area. The peak at 5.9 AU indicates that the cationic cellulose has a higher capacitive coupling, dC/dz
