In particular, the database includes daily epidemiological data (since Feb 24th, 2020) at national, regional and provincial level. Description of data collection	Epidemiological data about SARS-CoV-2 are daily collected by the regional institutions that send them to the Italian Ministry of Health. The Italian Ministry of Health, in turn, sends the data to the Italian Civil Protection Department.
