Effects of SAA on blood glucose and HbA1c in T2DM ZDF rats with AS. ZDF rats were fed with experimental high-fat diets (HFD) for 4 weeks, and were then injected intraperitoneally with 6 × 105 IU/kg of VD3 (three times, every three days). The drugs were administered to the ZDF rats daily, starting after the first VD3 injection for 6 weeks.
