Loss of protection in CoPP-treated mice is associated with increased IL-6. Cytokine analysis of samples collected at 72 hpi (shown in Fig. 3). Filtered lung homogenates (A to E) and serum (F to G) were analyzed for the following proteins by ELISA or multiplex assay: HO-1 (A), IL-6 (B), IFN-γ (C), TNF-α (D), IL-10 (E), and serum IL-6 (F).
