Changes in Relative Search Volume (RSV) leading up to World Cancer Day, World Cancer Day and 7 days following it. Each data point indicates the Relative Search Volume (RSV) measured on the specified day. RSV is the query share of a particular term for a given location and time period, normalised by the highest query share of that search term. Black vertical line marks the day of the Global Public Health Day. Blue = 1st slope, green = 2nd slope, red = 3rd slope, mint green = 4th slope. Number of slopes present depends on the number of joinpoints identified. Joinpoints mark a statistically significant change in the linear slope of the trend in the studied time period.
