Upregulation of Bcl-2 and pro-Caspase-3 proteins in platelets of HPR patients. Western blot was performed to evaluate the levels of Bcl-2 and pro-Caspase-3 proteins in leukocyte-depleted platelets of five LPR and five HPR patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention. The relative expression of proteins was normalized to b-actin expression. The protein lysates were separated by 12% sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and then the filter was immunoblotted for Bcl-2, pro-Caspase-3 and b-actin.
