Toxic Aβ oligomers are detected in hypoperfused hippocampus mostly in the CA1 region during subacute hypoperfusion (7d) (B,B’) and absent in naive hippocampus (A,A’). The Aβ oligomers co-localize with reactive astrocytes (C-D).
