Combined effect of non-linear propagation and focusing of the harmonics in a perfluoropentane micrometer-sized droplet. The emitted ultrasound wave has a frequency of 3.5 MHz and a focus at 3.81 cm, and the radius of the droplet is 10 µm for ease of observation. The pressures are given on the axis of the droplet along the propagating direction of the ultrasound wave, and the shaded area indicates the location of the droplet.
