Roles of c-FLIPL on cell survival and cell proliferation. As discussed in the text, in addition to its functional role in inhibiting apoptosis by binding to procaspases-8 and -10 and inhibiting their activation, c-FLIPL activates cell survival and cell proliferation by controlling MAPK, AKT, mTOR, Wnt/β-catenin, NF-κB, and STAT3 signaling pathways.
