The effect of miR-22 on LPS-induced HDAC6 expression and subsequent acetylated α-tubulin in macrophages. RAW 264.7 cells were transfected with miR-22 mimic (A) or anti-miR-22 (B) at 50 nM concentration. 24 h post-transfection, cells were stimulated with LPS (100 ng/ml) for 3 h. Total RNA was analyzed for mRNA level of HDAC6 and β-actin by qRT-PCR. Data are shown as mean ± SD of three independent experiments. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 and ***P < 0.001, as compared to the cells treated with vehicle alone. Cells transfected with miR-22 mimic (C) or anti-miR-22 (D) were stimulated with LPS (100 ng/ml) for 24 h. Cell lysates were analyzed for protein levels of HDAC6, acetylated α-tubulin, and β-actin by Western blotting.
