Note: we obtained the number of children born in 2014 in Spain from the Spanish National Statistical Institute data. In this table EBF refers to exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months of life. The prevalences of gastroenteritis (GE) among EBF children and AF children were 0.14 and 0.31, respectively. The unitary cost was €1963.28
