MCF7 cells were treated with AEW541 (2 μM) for 6 h and 24 h, followed by IGF1 (50 ng/ml) treatment during the last 10 min of the incubation period. Cells were then lysed and the levels of phosphorylated and total IGF1R, AKT and ERK1/2 proteins were measured by Western blots. Equal loading was confirmed by GAPDH loading.
