MCF7 cells were seeded in 96- well plates s at a density of 3 × 10³ cells per well. After 24 h, cells were treated with a panel of anti-cancer agents, alone or in combination with AEW541 (3 μM). After 48 h, cell viability was measured using XTT assays. Bars represent mean ± SEM of three independent experiments. Statistical analysis was done using Student’s t-test (^** p < 0.01 or ^* p < 0.05 drug versus drug + AEW541 or untreated cells versus AEW541).
