a

Recombinant, luciferase-expressing single-round HIV-1 strains with the indicated HIV-1 Envs or the envelope glycoproteins of the amphotropic murine leukemia virus (AMLV) were incubated with different concentrations of the BMS-806 analogues for 30 min at 37°C. The virus-compound mixtures were then incubated with Cf2Th-CD4/CCR5 target cells for 48 h at 37°C in 5% CO2. Then, the cells were lysed and luciferase activity was measured. The 50% inhibitory concentrations (IC50; in nanomolars), presented here, were calculated from four independent experiments and are reported as means and standard errors. ND, not determined.
